Akshay Kumar Announces Bhooth Bangla on His 57th Birthday, Reunites with Priyadarshan After 14 Years

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has officially announced his return to the big screen with director Priyadarshan for their latest project, Bhooth Bangla, set for release in 2025. The announcement coincided with Akshay’s 57th birthday, adding to the celebrations.

Akshay, who was last seen in the Independence Day release Khel Khel Mein, took to social media to express his excitement. “This collaboration with Priyadarshan has been a long time coming,” the actor wrote, sharing a motion poster of the film on his Instagram. He added that reuniting with the renowned director after 14 years felt special and he couldn’t wait to share the journey with his fans.

Akshay and Priyadarshan have delivered several box-office hits over the years, including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, and Bhagam Bhag. Their last collaboration was the 2010 political satire Khatta Meetha, making Bhooth Bangla a much-anticipated reunion for the duo.
